And 2010 marks a major upgrading. In GT trim, almost everything has changed, from the outside inward to the quantity and quality gadgets to the engine output to the transmission and, finally, above all, its all wheel drive. The 2009 Outlander is a fine, competent machine tool - ideally suited for transporting children and groceries. But frankly, it does not have hearts on fire. And while the new Outlander GT will not necessarily be it is certainly not just another sedan on stilts.
